Pottery Lamps

New pottery lamps are here in the store, and they are as beautiful as the handmade furniture they light up.

These Milk Can lamps, finished in pewter, have elegant black shades with golden interiors that really warm up a space.

Each of the lamps are hand-signed by the artist (just like our Simply Amish Furniture).P1020967

These lamps are made by Georgia artist Charlie West, who has been working with clay since 1986.  In 1998, Charlie began turning his handmade pottery into stylish lamps and this led to the beginning of Charlie West Lamps.  We think that they are beautiful with the handmade furniture, and unique pieces of art for any home interested in having one of a kind pieces.SH-CharlieWest-lava P1020963Notice the sparkle in this “lava” finish. This lamp is stunning in person!

Steve Ashley Pottery

We are excited to have local artist Steve Ashley’s handmade pottery here in our store now.  Every piece has been hand-thrown on the potter’s wheel, and then glazed (with lead-free glaze) and high fired so they are durable, dishwasher safe, and microwavable. Steve has been making pottery since 1975 and has some beautiful pieces that would work well with your fall decor  We have vases of different sizes, decorative bowls, baking dishes, mixing bowls, soup bowls, pitchers, canisters butter dishes, and several other unique items on display in the store. Come in to see  everything we have to offer from Steve Ashley!

We love these soup bowls: perfect for chili on a fall evening!
